What’s New in the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid?

For 2023, the Subaru Crosstrek offers a Special Edition model that’s based on the Premium trim and comes exclusively with Desert Khaki paint, 17-inch wheels, and dark gray exterior trim. The interior features two-toned black-and-red upholstery.

The Sport model offers excellent enhanced features like a set of unique 17-inch wheels, yellow-stitched upholstery, faux-carbon-fiber trim, and advanced driving modes. The more powerful 182-hp 2.5-liter engine comes with this model as well. All-wheel drive is standard on the Crosstrek, which makes it a rarity in the small SUV segment, where it's usually optional and often not offered at all.

The Crosstrek offers two engines: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder 152-horsepower engine, which powers the Base and Premium trims, and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder 182-horsepower engine that powers the Sport and Limited trims. Both feature all-wheel drive.

Safety features housed in the Crosstrek include a rearview camera, front and rear collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a rear seat alert.
